Curbside Giveaway

Curbside Giveaway Day is a pilot project event organized in cooperation with the local municipalities, where residents in participating municipalities place unwanted items in good condition—clearly marked FREE—on their curb for anyone to pick up. At the end of the Giveaway Day, residents return unclaimed items to their home.

This is a great opportunity to declutter and find a new home for your unwanted items, while also picking up something you may want or need for free.

Please ensure items whether new or used, are safe and meet current regulatory requirements. It is important to only place items that are in good condition. Damaged items should be discarded. The Region is not responsible for quality of items placed out for the Curbside Giveaway Day.

7:00pm – 9:00pm

Let's make Mondays fun again!
Calling all experienced and budding artists: Join us for our inaugural Drink & Draw sketch jam on Monday, September 18 from 7 to 9 pm!

Bring your own supplies and sketchbook or surface of your choosing. Drop-ins are welcome!
About your host:
From time to time, John Allen is seen backed into a corner sketching at the Wedge. He's an avid sketchbook keeper always having several going at any one time. He sees it akin to an artist's physical training program.
Designing for TV/film & new media demanded him to swap his pens for a mouse, and despite his passion for staying current with the latest digital tools, he maintains the practice of hand sketching for a variety of reasons, not least for the pure joy of it.

Frankie and Johnny

by On Stage Uxbridge

7:30pm

The setting is a walk-up apartment on Manhattan’s West Side where, as the curtain rises, Frankie (a waitress) and Johnny (a short-order cook who works in the same restaurant) are discovered in bed. It is their first encounter, after having met several weeks ago on the job, and Frankie is hopeful that Johnny will now put on his clothes and depart, so she can return to her usual routine of watching TV and eating ice cream. But Johnny, a compulsive talker (and romantic), has other ideas. He is convinced that he loves Frankie, a notion that she, at first, considers to be ridiculous. She has had more disappointments than delights in life, and he is the veteran of one broken marriage already. And neither of them is in the bloom of youth. Yet out of their sometimes touching, sometimes hilarious interplay the promise of a relationship beyond a “one-night stand” does begin to emerge and, as the lights dim, the two are back in bed again, but this time side-by-side, holding hands before the glowing television screen.

Appropriate for 16 years of age and older. Contains adult situations and some nudity.

Run time approx 2hrs

All tickets are: $25.00 each and include all taxes, ticket fees and Music Hall Improvement Fund.

Group rate of 10 or more tickets purchased for a single performance in a single transaction: $22.00 per ticket.

Subscription available until October 7th 2023. To upgrade your ticket for Frankie and Johnny to be part of the season subscription which includes Colours in the Storm, Death on the Nile and Willy Wonka for a price of $85.00 please call:1-866-808-2006
